She was a first (half-)cousin of Rev. Charles Boileau Elliott (1803-1875) and thus the second (half-)cousin once removed of his daughter Emily Elliott (1839-1924). Her son Frank married Emily Gertrude Causton (b.1869), who was Emily's husband's niece.
